Ruth 2: Bitterness Sweetened by the Hesed of God

“Hesed” is a Hebrew word, and a massively important Old Testament concept. This one little word describes the character of God toward his covenant children: grace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, sacrificial love. The “hesed” of God is a key theme in the book of Ruth, and it is particularly put on display in chapter 2, the text of last Sunday’s sermon. The audio is posted below:
