Sinclair Ferguson on Pastoral Ministry

Dr. Sinclair Ferguson is the Senior Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC, as well as professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Seminary. He is one of my very favorite living preachers and writers; I always come away from his teaching loving Christ and the Scriptures that testify of him more because of Dr. Ferguson’s ministry.

Here is an excellent interview with Dr. Ferguson on his call to pastoral ministry, the nature of pastoral ministry, and why the way we “do” church needs to be simplified.

And here are part 1 and part 2 of an extended reflection Ferguson gave at RTS on the formative influences on his life at age 60.

I found all three of these very interesting as well as edifying!
