Chapel Sermon at Union University

It was a tremendous privilege to preach in a chapel service at my beloved alma mater, Union University, last month. Going back and preaching in a place where the Lord has shown me so much grace, I felt a little like Jacob must have felt on returning to Bethel. It was a deeply moving experience to sit and reflect on my Father’s providence in my life as I prepared to stand and speak. So, if you can get past the first 30 seconds or so of my crying, I try to pull myself together and preach on my favorite OT passage, Genesis 32:22-32, here.
